Dalek, as he’s come to be known, watched too much television as a kid and in fact became an addict by the age of five. Refusing to go to kindergarten, or even play with other kids in the neighbourhood, he instead hid behind the moniker Dalek and got busy with art…which brings us to now. Dalek’s work has been exhibited in galleries around the world including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Washington, Deitch Projects and ALIFE in New York, BLK/MRKT Gallery and New Image Art Gallery in LA, Parco Gallery and Rocket Gallery in Japan and Colette in Paris. Sonic Order of Happiness is Dalek’s second book, was published in ‘05 and contains 72 pages of space monkeys, plus a page of stickers. Foreword by Ryan McGuiness.
